ACCOMPANIST

 

As accompanist, Dr. Wade remains active in New York, serving as audition pianist for Broadway and Regional Theater auditions (Tara Rubin Casting, Jamibeth Margolis Casting, Duncan Stewart and Company).   A professional affiliation with Actors Connection of New York allows him opportunities to serve as accompanist for numerous performance workshops, seminars and master classes headed by Broadway Casting Directors and Talent Agents.  Recently, he has been given the opportunity to serve as a vocal performance coach and accompanist for College Senior Showcases, working with colleges and universities from the Northeast and Midwest.

 

He can be seen on occasion at various cabaret venues (Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex) and benefit concerts (Sanctuary for Kids).  Additionally, he has musical directed and accompanied over a dozen Scene Study Performance Classes with director Jamibeth Margolis.  (Videos of several performances available here.)
